Can vary somewhat from one tire brand to another, too.

I remember my Avon 500s - were almost worn out in the middle, only slightly at the edges, at the same pressures that gave totally even wear on the Michelins.

You need to change your expectations.

It is not reasonable to expect a car that weighs 3500 lbs, towing a weight of 2000 lbs, to handle like one that is not.

Towing anything with anything requires caution and care.

Why not? They are rated as class 1, or 2000 lbs.

Are you saying they can't meet their ratings?

Looks a lot like the one I installed on the 525.

Fine as long as you are under the 2000 lb weight limit.

My 525 has a class 1 that goes completely under the bumper.

How heavy is the boat with trailer? Class 1 = 2000 lbs.

Didn't have to cut the bumper at all.

<a...

I've done this myself - you can get silver-loaded conductive paint.

The trick is to carefully scrape the insulation off the wire on each side of the break, so the conductive paint can connect. (there is some insulating coating on the wires)

You've completely lost me here.

Your car is faulty, and polluting. So you have 3 choices :

1) Pay to fix it yourself
2) Get the state to generously fix it for you
3) Get the state to buy it

Just what exactly are you...

No, lets blame the brand.

My A6 spend about 2 months of my first year of ownership in the shop. My BMW has spend 3 days in the shop, one for a radiator, one for new thrust arms, and one for an alignment.

Similar cars,...

Instead of us guessing which warning sign you have,

why don't you compare it to the ones shown in the manual, then tell us? Then we could offer a diagnosis.

Otherwise this "guess the warning light" thread is a complete waster of time.

Also a major adjustment of expectations is required.

Sounds like you bought Quattro cars and now think that will allow you to hurtle around on roads with no grip, in defiance of the laws of physics.

In any car, snow tires or not, 2 wheel or 4 wheel...

Cold air = more power and LESS mpg.

Warm air = less power but better mpg.

One good reason why, even if CAIs worked in lowering the air temp, they are a waste of time.
