Default You can paint the scratch in with special silver paint - never done it but I believe it works.

Default ours had some open water great lakes moisture, lake erie is frozen over...

i was driving around yesterday and the car was snowplowing. almost high-centered it.

snow kept coming and coming, then the temp dropped and wind picked up. big drifts now.

Default I've done this myself - you can get silver-loaded conductive paint.

The trick is to carefully scrape the insulation off the wire on each side of the break, so the conductive paint can connect. (there is some insulating coating on the wires)

Thanks for the tips. I picked up a kit made by Permatex, I'll give it a try this weekend.

Default where's the snow? made my own road in the semi Weds............

access road from main road to customer dock was unplowed, 3/4 mile through 18+" of powder
