Default apparently East Bay BMW is just handing out car keys *****-nilly

I keep getting emails from them and even got a phone call recently begging me to come in and make an offer; and just in my neighborhood I've seen 3 new BMWs come home in the last couple of weeks. I guess advertising works! that or they're desperate.
oh well the only reason I mention it is that we've got an A4 on order arriving soon...and if I don't get a decent deal on it I'll be upset!

Default BMW is cutting back US numbers by 41,000 cars for '09. But what is in the pipeline

presently is flooding dealer lots. The situation won't continue as the cutbacks take hold, but it's a good time if you have stellar credit and want a BMW

Sorry if this is a stupid question - but if you ordered the car didn't you already agree on a price?

Default No, they frequently place a factory order then

have you do the negotiation when the car arrives. Wierd, I know, but true.

Default long story, but no.

we originally ordered it as an European Delivery, which comes w/ an automatic 5% discount. somehow that got screwed up, so it turned into a factory order w/ local delivery; at which point, like LuvnhatemyA6 sez below , I'm going to negotiate pricing w/ dealer near delivery time.
