Your joking I hope. You can do better with most any quality brand. Even plugging an Ipod in to bypass the horrid Bose DAC's helps quite a bit.

Useless or not, fixing is much easier than trying to bypass. Its probably a vacuum hose

or a vacuum actuator on the front of the engine. You can find a schematic of the vacuum lines on Bentely and access them by popping off the engine cover. Fixed mine twice, neither time a big deal...

Yes, Arnott makes air bags for most air suspension vehicle. Systems are simple but you need to DIY,

since dealers prey on the unknown system. True for Audi, Land Rover, and probably others.

It looks like you are correct about the basic configuration. But I doubt the only difference is

software. The AR has a very different torque curve which probably suits its intended use. I would expect differences similar to the A6 vs. S6 V-8's.

rather than belt on the back end for B6S4. So the crank, cams, and engine management are all different. You really think everything else is the same? I bet the AR engine matches the VW Toureg...
