I only got that incorrect flow alarm when my pump wasnt working and when it died. If your maf sensor wires are damaged your air pump wont work either.

Hey Lucas. Does your engine have a standard 1.8t block thats bored out? I didn't know that boring to a 1.9 would make a bigger difference in spool for a turbo that large. Thanks for the info.
