Sounds like too much friction is stopping the window. Clean window track and spray some lube. From half way going up, it's beginning to seal and there will be more friction.

:) He is already there. Might as well replace the valve seals and head gaskey. Dude has 203,773miles and trying to sup up the car. Do it right :)

I hope you did the head gasket, valve seals and crankshaft seals. At that mileage, the seals are hardening up especially, the valve seals.
