Default busy Saturday

Major work done to the A4 this last weekend as evident from the photos of the old parts. Got a few more things to order now that things were able to be inspected closer. Looking for one of the hi performance N80 valve. Time to sup up the car now that it's at 203,773miles

I hope you did the head gasket, valve seals and crankshaft seals. At that mileage, the seals are hardening up especially, the valve seals.

That's a little excessive, IMHO. Head gasket? I'll pass, thanks.

He is already there. Might as well replace the valve seals and head gaskey. Dude has 203,773miles and trying to sup up the car. Do it right

Head gasket is neither a maintenance item nor a common failure item in these cars. Ditto valve seals.

Yea not worth it, thats where it goes from simple maintenance to major rebuild. If the gasket goes then replace it, but i wouldnt waste the time an expense tearing it out if you dont need to. And especially not valve seals, that would be even more money!
