The stock exhaust on a V8 is a 2x2 center...

The stock exhaust on a V8 is a 2x2 center resonator into a 2x2 rear muffler. Think more of Magnaflow #11378 x2 Should be quite and a have a deep rumble (not loud)

I would check fuses and relay's.. The starter relay for the non start, and the top of the ABS relay there is "protection" fuse, chances are it also popped..

The alarm control module is located on a bracket above the glove box, with the alarm "off" disconnect the module.

I'd say that you're missing the actual turn signal left and right sides.. and only got a center section.

They do still exist :-) a window mounted accelormeter measured +33Hp over stock. (ABT) then there are others what are not quite that much (IA, TAP)

An 2001 A4 has one single amp. Which chances are the rear channel is dead. In the trunk, drivers side open the panel in there is where the amp is located.

You can buy refurbished ones from a couple of places a quick search here a few weeks ago someone just did this and posted who they got them thru. They were in the North East if I recall...

You need to remove the dash pad / or the glovebox & knee bolster on the drivers side from the car to gain access to the remaining bolts that hold the trim in-place. Just depends you want to work...
