Known issue, very much debated in past posts. I learned to live with it after the dealer fixed it three times. Always come back. Will function properly when car warms up.

How long was the air conditioner on when you took your reading? Also the gauges provided with those kit are not the best. You should see the pressure drops as the system stabilizes itself.

Three more screws need to be removed. Two behind the wood trim and one behind the the top speaker cover. Be careful removing the wood trim. Very easy to brake the clip tabs, start at the front end...
