Default Need headlight cover. Anyone?

A month ago, I went to the dealership in Jackson, MS to have my HIDs replaced. Besides the worse service back then, I now have another problem. While they were replacing the bulbs, somehow one of the latches on passenger side headlight cover broke off! I went to check because the condensation inside of the headlamp began to form. I called the dealer, they BSed me how about 10 mins. but finally agreed to replace it under the warranty BUT only if I was to come to them due to some paperwork reasons. I am 180 miles away from them and really don't want to drive that far for one part which I can replace myself. They won't mail it to me. Anyone want to sell me their cover? Passenger side, '08 A6, headlight cover (one that allows access to the bulbs once removed). Looking for a good deal.

Found "Rear cap Right - 2005-08 W/o xenon headlamps - 2005-08 W/o xenon headlamps" http://audiusaparts.com/partlocator/...layCatalogid=0

It says Without Xenon Headlamps. I got xenons so this cap won't work?

Try the part No:4f0-941-158. It seems the rear cap is the same for xenons and non xenons.

Thanks guys, I'm getting condensation in my right headlamp also. I'm going to check this cap and see if its the culprit. It's gotten worse in the year I've owned my 2005 so it worries me. AOA was not helpful, all they tell me is that every TSB campaign is done with my car....hard to believe with all I've done so far. Anyway, thanks again!

Some condensation in the headlamp unit is acceptable according to Audi. These are not 100% sealed, they allow the lamps to breath therefore moisture can get inside on a warm, humid, rainy day. If the next morning is cool you may see condensation. They also claim this is normal for the rear lamps. Running the headlamps to generate heat should get ride of the condensation. If it is excessive and there is a manufacturing defect (like broken tabs on the cover) then Audi should cover the repair.

Thank you, I will have to take it in then. It's fogs up when the car is washed and when it rains it impedes the beam, so I doubt its normal at this point when the other one is perfectly fine under the same conditions.
