I'm on my 3rd trans in my A4 1.8TQMS

Original, one under warranty @ ~40K, and another (from the world's SLOWEST vendor: Pheonix Remanufactured Tansmissions) at ~61K.

I was very dissappointed with the slow service from Phoenix Re...

I've had a fractured pressure plate before and it would rattle horribly at idle

actually, I only let it run for a second or two.
This time, it will idle fine and I can even let the clutch out while it's in neutral, but not in gear.

This is already my 2nd transmission. the...

crunch crunch grind grind when I *try* to release the clutch.

Looks like it's time for a 2.8QM tranny (better 5th gear ratio for cruising)

Anybody know if having a shop rebuild the tranny is a...

I have had my OEM sport shocks on w/ H&R Race spring w/ no problems

Looks great, and I would love to have the Bilsteins, but until these go out, I can't justify the purchase.

I've got over 15K miles on the OEMs W/ the H&Rs

I bought a kit with diff sizes of Silicone hoses at AutoZone

They had 3 common sizes of vacuum hose in the kit. It was enough to replace all my small vacuum lines and some large, leaking ones as well.

My boost has been on the decline foe about 6 months now and I have taken steps to make sure it wasn't leaking out (changed vacuum lines, replaced leaking wastegate actuator, pressure tested...

me too. My peak boost was ~12-13 psi

I can tell you where to get a good deal on the wastegate actuator if you find you need one.

The simple test I used to determine it was the actuator was to use a hand vaccum pump (MityVac) hooked...

I had a similar problem..

I have a 2001 w/ the X Chip and I couldn't hold more than 12-13 psi. It turns out that my wastegate actuator had a leak in it. ECS tuning has them on their website for $170, but it says they are on...

I'll match your loose wastegate and raise you three cracks in the housing

<center><img src="http://www.eclubvw.com/gallery/files/1/6/3/K03Turbo001.jpg"></center><p>You can only see two cracks in this pic, but the third is near the wastegate port.

I could sell mine to you, since my car is for sale

I still have my OEM, so I could put it back on if you are serious about buying my Borla.

<center><img src="http://www.eclubvw.com/gallery/files/1/6/3/Turbo-Wash-003.jpg"></center><p>what I'm asking is, are my shocks possibly gone, it feels like my swaybar isn't stiff enough, or that my...
