How old is the tranny fluid?

Or... just a crazy idea, how about them motor mounts? Have they leaked and now they're dry?

What noise?

The only time I had valve lifter noise was when I discovered I was low on oil. The 30v 2.8/3.0 should have a silent head. Try a thinner synth oil for the cold weather.

Shuffle bolts

The funny thing is, I didn't realize they were 5x114 until I was ready to sell them. The bolts that go with the wheels allow them to seat properly.

Bad timing

KK expanded at the very peak of the low carb craze. And their coffee sucked. It was a perfect storm of bad business timing.

The only fluids that ever leaked from my car were...

...coolant, and transmission fluid. The tranny fluid is darker than that, and coolant leaves a white residue everywhere.

I have to agree with fuel. Which is a little scary actually.

Agreed

The night panel is cool for late night trips on the highway, but not during normal driving because I like to be able to see the tach. It's fun to watch what additional information lights up under...

off topic... VERY cool VR4!

I almost bought one of those brand new back in the day, but went with an Accord 4-door instead. I know, ****ty choice, but the valuable lesson I learned was... I hate Honda products.

I actually like the new nose, though I think the rest of the body is a bit boring

I'll be honest, I'm intrigued by SAABs new XWD and would probably consider it over an A4. Well, maybe a B7 A4, the next A4 looks gorgeous.

I like it, but for different reasons than I liked the A6

The SAAB reminds me of the old '80s and '90's VWs. It's very simple, sturdy, and feels good. Nearly every time I drive the SAAB these days I'm reminded of my '86 Golf.

The 9-3 simply doesn't...

I hope you specified it, because if you didn't...

...it's going to be an expensive afterthought if it goes. What type of shop did you bring it to? Was it an Audi/VW type shop?

They eat their own tops

It's a nice car, definitely, but only comes in automatic and they have a history of eating their own tops. The design of the top is suspect and it causes the top material to fray and tear over a...

Ummm, hello

I'm 6'4 and fit just fine in 9-3 vert. I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but low mileage examples of an '02 or '03 9-3 vert are relatively inexpensive to buy, own, and insure.

Check...
