Going to get the car tinted for the first time, need recommendations
Well, I have never tinted any of my cars.
My current C5 is Red with Tan interior and during bright sunny days I feel like I am in a fish bowl. Even parked, the bright interior is too visible for my taste.
I have searched the forum and got a few threads regarding what tint manufacturers may be better than others.
Now comes the tough part, what "shade" and "degree" of tint to choose from. Since it seems like its a one time deal and whatever I chose I will have to live with or pay double and have it removed and choose something else.
Here are some of the pictures I found on the web may be you guys can tell me what kind and shade the tint is on these cars.
I especially like the tint in this red one.

Any chance you guys can post some pics with the name and degree of tint you have?
Also found an older S4 forum thread with tint name and pictures but most pictures have been removed.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/386986.phtml</a

I have 20% on my car and i love it... you have to remember if you go too dark it is hard to see out at night as well as gives johny law another reason to pull you over.. I used Lumar...

What are the legal limits for your state? Stick to the law, nothing worse than...
...spendign hundreds of $$ on tint only to have to strip it off if you went too dark for law enforcement.
Limit in MA is 35% "net", so the 50% film over the factory tint nets about 38% (tint is measured in % of light that passes through), so prefectly legal.
GO to tintlaws.com tof idn the tint limits in your state.

Laws and climate should dictate what you get
Law here in Nevada is no more than 35% on the fronts and anything you want around the rest.
I went at 22% all the way around, figure I will take the risk and try to keep out as much heat as possible. Now if I lived in NY or Seattle..... I would go lighter.
