I think that as you drive, it will spread the antifreeze along the bottom. However, on the passenger side, I see a drip form a bolt at the base of the radiator.

Bottom of radiator is wet (antifreeze), any experience out there?

It is a slow leak but I do have to refill every month or so. Radiator hoses on top side look ok, nothing obvious. Could this be a cracked radiator or most likely a hose connection which is not...

Low oil indicator, puddle of oil found near where oil filter is, please remind me what this is again

Driving home when low oil lights up. Added about 1 litre or more of oil, checked under the car and near the front of the engine, about where the oil filter would be, there is about a couple of...

Re: Let's do some math, shall we?

That air flow must factor in the air already being sucked in by the engine. In other words, if the supercharger was off and the engine running, it would still be pumping air. Maybe that is how they...

agreed about the city mileage

I can't break 20 in the city. Too much weight to accelerate and by the time you put the energy to bring it up to 40mpg, it is time to convert it to heat. The only way to do much better is if your...

17-19 City, 26-31 Hwy 2001 A8L 4.2L Quattro

If the highway has no hills, it is at the upper end, the more the hills, the lower it gets. For city I try to accelerate gently but can't do much better than 17-19.

Pull it out, open it up and let it dry out...

Providing no soap got it and it is only water, it should work. When it is wet, there are additional electrical paths which give problems, once dry, those paths should go away.
