Let's do some math, shall we?
This supercharger draws 2.2 Amps (or about 30Watts) to generate 250CFM of pressurized airflow. About 8.33 CFM/Watt
Our HVAC blowers draw about 20 Amps (or 280 Watts) to generate about 350CFM of "slightly" pressurized airflow (maybe 1 PSI). About 1.25CFM/Watt
So the fan in the "supercharger" is at least 6.6 times more efficient than the HVAC blower.
I think we've solved the energy crisis. :-p

That air flow must factor in the air already being sucked in by the engine. In other words, if the supercharger was off and the engine running, it would still be pumping air. Maybe that is how they do their math.

LOL, it could explain about 90% of their airflow claim.
Although they do say "It produces 250CFM".
I really have no problem with this kind of stuff. Or magical diet pills. As always, it's a buyer beware world. And Darwin's Law doesn't just remove people from the gene pool, it sometimes just takes their money away.

This one's for real but draws 700 amps to produce a 5 psi boost.

I just run flexible dryer duct from the AC dash outlets to the airbox
That way I get a dense charge and can use the existing blower motor. When I want to pass someone I simply hit "Max Cool".
