Xennon Headlight out - 2008 S-line

Hi everyone,

Long time since my last post. My wife told me she has a headlight out and I told her to take it to the dealer. It is still under warranty and I am assuming they will fix it.

Question on Power Mirrors

Is there an automatic setting so they sense, for example, the frame around the garage door and automatically retract?

Does anyone else find the knob a pain to turn all the way down from 12 to 6 to...

In the same ballpark as my Q7 S-line 3.6

Pretty much have the same car except I went with the 20"s. I wrote them a check for $5000 and got $837.00 per months, taxes included in payment, 3 years, 10k per year.

Wow - do I look lazy!

Thanks, called her and she reset the system per the instructions. I did do a search before I posted this, the seach engine here leaves a lot to be desired.

Much appreciated,
Joe

How do you reset tire pressure monitoring system?

I am sure this is in the manual, but my wife is owners manual challenged. She called me at work and said she is getting a tire pressure low warning and went to a gas station and they said the...

I'm biased toward darker colors as well

The funny thing about the Q7 is that it REALLY looks so different in different colors. There are a few colors that make me really not even like the design.

I think Black or Lava Grey look best. ...

Totally agree on the interiors

I too found the Q7 interior to be the selling point. Mercedes are just plain boring in almost every variety with the exception of some of the AMG models. The interior of mercedes reaks of "older...

S-Line vs. Tech and other comments

We just took delivery on a 2008 s-line that we ordered and we went through the same dilemas that you are going through. The side and lane assist is the only thing in the tech pack that seemed...

This is why I went with the 20's on my s-line

They offer all-season tires with the 20's and not with the 21's. Honestly, your 21" wheels on the beach will perform no better than driving a Corvette in the sand. But, I am sure it looks pretty...

I wonder how my 20's are going to do

We picked up our '08 s-line last week and the new s-line wheels are absolutely gorgeous. However, even with all season skins, I wonder how the low profile tires will do in the New England winter.

Pretty stiff here as well

Picked up my 2008 s-line this weekend and I too noticed how hard it takes the bumps and road imperfections. I attributed it to the 20 inch wheels which look awesome by the way. I'd take looks over...

Quick Math

Not sure if this is a reasonable test or not:

Price - $55,500
Residual @ 49% - $27,195
Divided by 36 for a monthly payment of $755

Not sure how much the money factor impacts the payment, but...

No Change from September

I am taking delivery on a 2008 this week and had the dealer hold it until the October rates came out. I was informed yesterday that they did not chage. For the 3.6:

I believe the 2007 just listed all the songs in alphabetical order. ...

Think so?

Do you think the payment is high considering the money down? It's really not that much when you look at where it is going. This is what Audi assumes from thier website when they post lease monthly...

To each his own, matter of taste

A little too ghetto for my taste. But what matters is that you like it. Good luck!
