I have 2 questions about the Q7. Can you help this noob?
I am trying to convince my wife to get the Q7 when our current lease is up.
1) Can you fit 2 booster seats next to each other so that an adult can fit on one end?
2) Is there an aux input solution available now? I would be installing the Visuologic headrest monitors with a dvd player in the glove compartment just like my Lexus. I refuse to use an FM modulator.
Thanks guys.

1. Yes, but it would be a VERY TIGHT FIT for the two chairs. The adult would be able to sit comfortably though.
2. No, but there are some other members, that've done a similar solution, so search around, and you might find it.

1. yes, 2. yes(for the most part)
I sometimes put the 2 seats side-by-side (1 britax convertible and one graco baby seat with base). It's tight but it works ok (can't use LATCH on both if you do this, but that's with any car).
I was just looking at these last night at the store. Booster seats are narrower than convertibles and unless you get the Britax (gigantic) or one with large non-removable cupholders you should be fine.
On the aux input, you can get an aux cable for the MMI but if you also have an iPod you won't be able to use both at one time. Also if you install a DVD player in the glove compartment running the cable to the MMI will be less than straightforward.
I've been agonizing about the same thing lately (see this thread: https://forums.audiworld.com/q7/msgs/21090.phtml). There may be better options than what you describe. Visualogic makes in-headrest dvd players (not just plain monitors) and they have a central box which you can place anywhere. You can run any kind of input into that (I was looking at a video iPod as the input source).

Thanks for answering. Do you have link to the aux cable for MMI? Who makes it?
The dvd player/monitor will be professionally installed. I am aware of the Visualogic with built-in player. It is only $200 more than monitors without. However, my kids are too young to operate a remote. I need to control everything from the front seat. On my car, I had the ir sensor installed next to the passenger seat.

I am using 2 of these guys. It is 16.5 inches wide.

Same situation here.
That's why I was thinking about using a video iPod so I can load all cartoons onto it, do away with the DVDs and also edit out all the previews, commercials and RIAA/FBI threats (I really despise seeing those on DVDs for 2-year-olds).
My plan with the iPod is to search using the little ipod screen and, once I found what I wanted, switch the output to the screens in the back (unfortunately they say you can't have both running at the same time).
You can probably install the vizualogic connector box anywhere (it would be awesome if it fit in the otherwise useless phone cradle space in the armrest) and connect your source (ipod) directly using one of these:
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=4D79909E&fnode=home/shop_ipod/ipod_accessories/cables_docks&nplm=MB129LL/A
or

Beware, the newest of iPods are said to not work with this one: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=543CBB31&nplm=M9765G/B
Since the video is sent via the dock connector, I'm hoping that would also allow sound through the jack connector so you can plug it directly into the MMI using the Audi cable for MP3 players (not the audi cable for ipods which uses the dock connector itself).
Unless I find the new Archos device more appealing, this is the route I'm going myself.
Good luck with it!

Hey RobSo, couldn't help commenting on the picture. Sweet looking Omega. I have a Seamaster GMT and absolutely love it.
