pics of my Whited Out with 22" matte black rims and smoked tail lights
So thanks to this forum I bought my wife the 3.6 Q7 premium. I got really really lucky and found a 2007 with only 3800 miles, but the best part about it was that the previous owner customized it perfectly .
Custom 22" rims that are matte black with a polished lip. He whited out everything that was gray on the car, which I don't understand why stock Audi is gray trimmed anyway. The grille was painted to match the rims matte black, and the rear tail lights were smoked which look great with the white paint.
What do you guys think?

Cool!
Hey whitedoutQ7, thanks for the great pics! I am planning on having the bottom gray trim on my white 3.6P (which is on the way) painted white to match the car. Thanks to you, now I know EXACTLY what its going to look like!!!
THANKS BUD!!! And, congratulations on the new purchase. :-)

Nearly there...you can get Black roof rails
and I think the reversing sensors would look better in white.
I am not sure about the black rings, maybe they would work better with black bars. Apart from that its a prettty special looking car.

+11...I like it, I'd also change the door handles and front grill
Door handles -- I know those buttons may be a pain to get white (and have them stay white/not flake off) but your eyes move right to them as-is.
Also, I think the license plate grill would be better in black rather than having a white "belt"
Just my $0.02, still a nice ride!

I can deal with it... sorta like it
But you need to modify via VAG and drop the suspension (assuming it is adaptive suspension) or buy aftermarket suspension now - the wheel gap is unbearable with the black / white contrast.

While I like it...there would be a couple of things I'd change
1. Gloss black wheels
2. Chrome Audi emblems front and rear to blend with wheel lips.
3. Paint the whole grill and trim(that is white now) gloss black
4. Lower a little(thru VAG if possible)
It's different, which I like. Congrats.
