Sounds like its coming time for new rear calipers. They are not terribly robust in design. I replaced the pair on the 30v awhile back along with all the hoses. They were not very pricey if memory...

Had a similar experience awhile back. We have a neighbor up north who runs a business in LR restoration/repair. The word I got from him for series 1 trucks was, the 1998 was the best year to buy due...

1) ABS issue- clean the sensors and make sure the calipers are not sticking in anyway(fresh fluid, not binding on carriers or pins)
2)P/S issue- flush the fluid and clean out the resv tank filter....

Nice, congrats.....

I'll bet the bill on that new suspension was worth more then 2k alone. There are a number of MT allroads I see hit CL here in the PNW but they are usually 03-04s. My guess was, cars coming off lease...

There is a reason allroads are cheap. They are exceedingly pricey to keep running. Maybe it will inherit the old Maserati Biturbo nickname, "double trouble". Personally, I like the car/suv, but one...

Yes, I know they are a one time use. I'm just not one of those who like's to push something upon other's, hence the suggested replacement.

No, I'm talking about the car sitting for a year or two. I've seen on engines that have poor grounds where there was evidence of arcing. We all know how wonderful the wiring can be in these cars. ; )...

I find SS hoses/lines are more a benefit for track or autoX events. Even then, as others have said, most are not DOT approved. We've got a set on one of the porsches and as you've said(or noticed) it...
