Default Ladies and Gentlemen
I'm just visiting from the TT forum but I had a question for you A4 owners. I was looking at an A4 with the 1.8 today as a car for my daughter. It's got 120k and I noticed a hesitation when stepping on the gas for a few seconds until the turbo kicked in. Is this a normal thing or do you think that it might need a tuneup or what? Also, while driving the warning chime sounded and an oil can appeared in the center display. Is this possibly a sensor issue or a pressure issue? Thanks for anyone and everyone's time on this.

What year of A4? You saw the oil pressure light and kept driving?

You don't know which one it is until you hookup a mechanical gauge and check it.

Sorry, it's a 2001. We weren't too far from the dealer so I just turned around and headed back.

you can find a car that is decent shape for good money
1.8's are depreciating quick. No reason to buy something sub par

3rd and 4th..... B5's are cheeeep these days. So are Allroads which is why I'm looking at one.
