Your 5k has an afterrun switch at the rear of the head under the ICV, look for issues there

can anyone tell me if an ex. manifold from an '87 5000SQ will fit a 1990 100Q? I think their both NF engines but I could be mistaken

FTR, there is a difference between the early 5000...

FTR, there is a difference between the early 5000 thru 1988 & the later 100/200 condensers, the high pressure line has different fittings

'86 is a 5000 in the USA, designated 100 in other markets if I'm not mistaken my '89 parts car has a dark blue interior, power heated seats, $300 complete if you're interested

I repaired MFTS on both my T44 cars by crimping on butt connectors to the wires & spade terminals to each terminal on the MFTS, replacing the sensor first, this is not easy but has worked on both...
