Default shift lever replacement

I'm trying to replace the shift lever on my 1990 100Q, 347K, the ball & socket has come apart & I have repaired it temporarily several times, by safety wiring the socket where the bonded rubber has come apart, not easy, my local yard thinks there is a difference between 100 & 200 consoles/shift levers & I disagree & think they are the same, anyone have an opinion

The shifters and trannys are totally different 01A in the 100 vs. 016 in the 200. If you want parts for the shifter ball socket look for a 80/90 for parts car as they use the same parts for the ball/socket. You could also replace the ball socket assembly with a short shifter.
