Default 2001 A4 rear wheel bearing

I just replaced the LR wheel bearing & bushing. I swapped the knuckle from my '99 parts car, (same style ABS sensor with bolt hole), to minimize down time. I marked the alignment bolt but still needed alignment after, (it was not tracking straight & steering wheel was not centered). Alignment improved handling & wheel is now centered. Problem is the car does not feel right still, it does not inspire confidence & feels unstable. at 152K miles it does need shocks but why should new bearing & bushing affect handling, everything is torqued to spec. & aligned. It did not feel like this before bearing/bushing replacement
