Default A4 1.8 info

I'm a new A4 owner but long time Type 44 owner, ,my 2001 A4 has broken window regulator, any BTDT on removing door panel? my car came without owners manual & don't have Bentley yet, is 5w30 correct oil?

Under the handle, take out a screw, lift up the plastic bracket, remove two more screws.

Remove two screws, one on each side of the door panel at the top (they're the visible screws, small, black).

Lift up the door panel, and voila.

Regarding the oil, there is a VW-spec for the oil, however in my Wife's 1.8T, which is driven fairly easily, I just use a major-brand synthetic 5W-30 (Mobil 1, Valvoline, Castrol, etc).

Ok, thanks for info, I changed oil & used Mobil 1 5w 30,I am going to have to replace oil pan as it was hit & there is damage, subframe has to be dropped to R&R like on Type 44's? any btdt on subframe or oil pan? I don't see a screw under door handle?
