On my past Allroad the rear bumper was a matte black and was always getting scratched. So i used a bath mat with a rubber backing. Since then, I never damaged the rear plus it was a Walmart buy.

My older Allroad had retractable cup holders front and rear, they were the best. Sturdy and can hold up to a 20oz cups.

I got them to add a hardner to the paint plus make sure they use a dark primer. Should prevent chipping.
