Pigs? I have 28K on my Bridgestone RE960's and another season left on them.
245/45/18 Load Index 100, I like them. Likely will buy the new RE970 next.

Default Consumer Reports Report.

Consumer Reports rated these tires higher than Continental Extreme Contact DWS even though TireRack said that The DWS' were the best.

Cooper Tires
They come in a 235/55/R17 so they only slightly mess up your speedo.
They will be the ones I put on next.

I have no experience with the Nitto. I had the Continental DWS on a M-B SLK and was favorably impresed. I seldom agree with Consumers' Union's assessment of automobiles and automobile related parts and equipment. I do depend on CU for washer and dryer advice.

I'm in Northern California as well. I get up in the snow quite a bit in the winter. I put Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires on last year and love them. In my opinion, tires are one of the easiest ways to improve performance on the Allroad. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ride smooth, are quite and are great if you get in the snow. I'd spend the extra $$ and get them again.

Ottawa here, had an S4 , now a Q60 Redsport up in October and have narrowed choice down to C43 coupe and S5 coupe. I have been told rather vaguely by the dealer that 2021 cars will be landing " in the Fall" but nothing further.

Another recommendation for the Continental ExtremeContact DWSs which were DWS06 on my last purchase a couple of years ago. The DWS is for dry, wet, and snow, and you may be able to go with the DW if it's available, though I have no experience with anything but DWSs. I had them on an A6 and now have them on my 04 allroad. Wouldn't ride anything else, for any kind of weather and driving. I've always pushed them and they ride quiet and strong always, and wear well. TireRack did give them the highest rating in a video review years ago, but it was mostly because its superior ice and snow performance, which I value. There may be other reviews. Note, importantly. that they also look great. Good luck on this critical choice.
