I traded in an 2008/Nov built 25K miles MSRP$41560 B8 A4 P+q/Sport/Nav in 2010/Aug for $27K. With 2013 model coming in, I'd say $29K including tax & fees to be reasonable

should be able to get 2012 for $4-5K off MSRP after 2013 arrives. the sales person could be fired, but try it with a few dealers. I'm very positive.

I think 2012 is improved over 2010 build. I can feel better specially in transmission and interior assembly quality, comparing my 2800miles 2012/SportDiff and 37K-mile 2010 S4/ADS. A4 is improved...

I've done exactly same way for 6 German cars...

I've done exactly same way for 6 German cars bought in 10 years. They always match your numbers. All deals were done by calling less than 4 dealers. Same way works for purchase or lease.
