I have 155k on mine. If that one has been regularly maintained it will never die. Just find out whatever else wear and tear items need to be done on it and negotiate the price around them.

so your total trailer weight+cargo is 4500lbs? that exceeds the max tow rating - and likely exceeding the max tongue weight as well. you might want to reevaluate this setup - not safe!

Possible it’s engine knocking under load? What octane gas do you normally fill it with? (The engine should adjust timing for lower octane, but possible it could still knock or ping under load)
