Just a follow up a few weeks on. The more I drive my Malone-d TDI the more impressed I am. Long trip back from PA with 4 bikes on a hitch rack and and fully loaded with gear and it was just effortless on the long pulls up out of Port Jervis and on the Mass Pike in the Berkshires - accelerate at 75 going uphill just a quick tap down to M7 on the paddles. Passing power at highway speed much improved. Overall just very pleased with the results.

I'm thinking about switching to the Malone Tune. I have the JR tune and I've not been able to get a response from Jarek for a reflash in over a year. Had some emissions repairs done and the tuner no longer recognized my ECU.

No data on JR, but Malone was super quick and responsive. You may need to restore your original tune I suspect first though based on the way Flashzilla works.

Running stock tune now. Just debating spending the money on a second tune when my issue is not with the tune rather the support after the fact!

How did the steering wheel swap go for you? Did the paddles automagically "work"? Id love a flat bottom wheel but didnt want to lose functionality of all the other bells
Thanks !!

@krautstyle541 Love having the paddles for shifting (I am a long-time manual transmission driver, miss my manual 6 spd Avants!) It does require recoding VCDS for them tho - my dealer took care of that for me.
