Jason - very helpful link, thanks. Of course all went well until the very last bolt was stuck then stripped by me. Off to get a replacement so if/when I can get it out I will not have to reuse it.

They are the same sensor - on the bottom of the oil pan and you have to get the right replacement. I got the non-OEM one and had to remove and replace to get things right. Good luck

I'm in NoVa as well with almost the same car - bought new, babied, Mobil 1, etc. and to hear that yours was stolen just sucks. I agree w. donromani's post though - 2 weeks can not undo all the TLC...
