You can definitely do it once.

Given the kind of torque I was throwing down at lower R's on stock rods, it's possible to run that kind of curve.

It's still risky...

Those were RS6Brids and homebrew. I got that AFR curve quite a bit better with an AFPR and wideband, but nothing compared to custom tuna.

I really like the straight RS6's for their bang/buck but...

Drill it.

Take out the grommet from the old one, make a new hole the same size in the RS4 accordion. Be sure to check the position of the hole before you drill by test-fitting it.

There's a pair of wastegate T's back there...

They sit right on the bellhousing. Check that those aren't the source.
