Oh great. What makes the 3.0 a no-go? It's for my dad so power isn't a big issue. I'd rather...

Hey guys...I am going to look at an '02 A6 3.0qs tomorrow and was wondering...

There is no oil pump seal on the 1.8t, correct? I am helping a friend change his pump...

and he thinks that there should be a seal between the pump housing and the block. I told him I would ask the pros on AW to ease his mind. It's a 99 AEB.

TIA

Guess I should also bring up...

Mandeep: "suspension had 60k mile when removed"

Hmmm...why do people feel the need to lie?

Looks like I should have him keep an eye out for a smaller garrett or holset to turn up...

I was hoping to keep part swapping to a minimum. Right now everything is stock (K03 and no chip) but I am looking to chip it, but I wanted to wait until after researching about these big boys so I...

I STFA but only found a couple of examples and wanted to check with the pros here...

A friend from HS works for Cummins and is able to get his hands on blown turbos for free and rebuilt for next...
