Don't know about newer S*, but problem on older Audis:
Check failing Ignition Switch often caused by too many keys - works cold, poor or no start after even short drive;
Same for 'cold start'...

Cold NO Start - '87 5000 Turbo FWD

Car now will not start below 27 +/- F.; starts on first crank (1 sec.) otherwise. Any ideas?HELP!

VERY-VERY difficult starting at -2/3°C & colder(28-29°F. & colder)- this winter. Many & long cranks, etc.. & it sputter starts (requires throttle play). OK all day after that, but not next morning...
