Code 1111 (Page D2-140) = faulty Unit? = replace?
If so where can I get a new one, or (guaranteed clean) used unit?

Also, is this correct: MAC-14 = J88 = CIS-E III ?

I'm having an overboost problem + starting issue (8 - 10 sec) here (now at Elev.3400'). Car has 205K km and was from west coast (sea level last fall). Replaced lower (leaking) W.G hose with used one (looked Ok), but may be part of problem as car still overboosts, & cuts out. Can't hear wastegate 'unloading' now, as with orig. hose.

Overboost conditions can be caused by:

Check Lower Waste Gate Hose from Intake Manifold for leaks/restrictions

Check Vacuum/Boost Hose from Intake Manifold to Engine Control Unit (ECU) for leaks

Check Waste Gate Diaphragm for Leaks

Check Waste Gate Valve for sticking or restricted movement

Check Hose connections for incorrect routing

Check upper Intercooler to manifold, ("mm") hose. Common failure on these cars. Look for split in ribs on bottom or split in casting seam.
