Here is a site that has colored silicone vacuum hoses.

Not sure what size to get though. It's all in metric. That's if I can use this at all. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ed

Thanks Ed: Did you get the straight crimp tool or parallel tool? (more)

Is there anywhere online that I can order the silicone vac hose?

Thanks again for your help.
Ed

We should get a group to come to the next autocross up here.

It is at North Park swimming pool on Sunday October 8th. Me and my one friend are the only A4's that run there. I think that it would be nice to get a good showing for Audi.
Ed

Mine fit perfectly. No glue or drilling either. Just wedge it between the Apilliar and the dash.

I had the same noise with the stock wheels and the MM Spyders. It is definitely brake related.

I had a local tuning shop diagnose the problem for me because the dealer wouldn't do anything. It was found that it was the calipers. You can reproduce the noise on the rack by banging on the front...

Re: chip questions

1. 100 octane gas is only required for the race gas program with EMCS. You should try to run at least 91 which is what is recommended by Audi.

2. I did the install myself in about 10 min. The...

I would definitely get..........

an upgraded BPV not a blow off valve and a boost gauge. Especially if you are chipping the car. I have no experience with using a boost controller.

Boost Gauge Kit: ~$115 (www.awe-tuning.com)...

I have a 99.5 and I tapped in at the bottom. My friend also has the same car and tapped in at the top. There is no difference. I ran mine underneath the engine cover so it would be hidden.
Ed...
