Do you get a clink/chatter noise or chirp when going over bumps?
My car is at the dealer and they asked if I noticed this problem with the stock wheels now it has been over 13k miles on the car with these wheels I dont know and I have been troubleshooting this problem for 12k.

thanks

Default I get that noise too. I think it's brake related. I'm completely stock.

Default yeah my thought was that it was brakes...

Audi rep happens to be at the dealer today and took car for a drive and thinks it is the wheels/centering rings chattering. They are going to swap to some standard wheels and see if the noise goes away.

All in the name of science and my fellow Audi enthusiasts

Default I had the same noise with the stock wheels and the MM Spyders. It is definitely brake related.

I had a local tuning shop diagnose the problem for me because the dealer wouldn't do anything. It was found that it was the calipers. You can reproduce the noise on the rack by banging on the front tires from the inside out. They removed the brakes, applied a little bit of anit-seize, and the noise was gone until it wore off after about 2 weeks. This is a really annoying problem.<p>Ed
