If you are trying to go cheap get one of these tread gauges. then hit up ebay for a used tire... but you have 30K miles on them they should pretty much be toast by now anyway.

you should be able to adjust the amount it mutes the radio when the nav speaks (and when back up sensors are beeping)... at least you can in the 2011's.

Yeah I don't think tire brand matters for lease return. But they have been going for 700-800 bucks with less than 1000 miles on them in the classifieds.

I'm just waiting for something to pop up...

I second the 0000 steel wool if it's been a while. You might even need to scrap some baked on chunks off like I had to do. Use a stiff plastic tool so that it is less like to scratch.
