'66 Karmann Ghia purchased from a woman who was going into the convent. I made the check out to to convent. She told me it was never in an accident but several years later when I had taken off the driver's door panel, I found the door had been hit and bondoed. I guess she eventually got religion and confesses for that lie! My first mod was a gasoline heater that was installed in the front trunk - really kept the car toasty but probably more dangerous and polluting than I knew.

By the way I bought it used so I wasn't able to get the sport diff.
