Hi all,

Brand new here. Just picked up my frist Audi –*a 2013 S4. Very exciting. I don't quite know how to search for this (I've been trying), so I'm curious someone here can help me out.

I want navigation voice guidance to play over the radio, rather than muting it each time it gives an instruction. Is there a setting that will allow this to happen? My partner's Tiguan does this, and I definitely prefer it to the interrupted radio.

In my 2011 S4 you can chose the volume setting for when the car was talking to you. Its in the settings, I think in sound but if you search through the settings you can find it

I'm totally fine with the volume of the voice prompts.

But right now, whenever the nav wants to speak, it entirely mutes my radio. I would rather it speak over the radio, because I find the muting really annoying. Is there a setting that makes it so it doesn't dip the audio when the nav needs to speak?

you should be able to adjust the amount it mutes the radio when the nav speaks (and when back up sensors are beeping)... at least you can in the 2011's.

Thats what I was referring to as well. Sorry. I have a 2011 as well but I dont think there were any major changes in MMI until 2013. Mine just lowers it(i think) but ill have to check when I drive home later
