Thank you. Based on this information it does indeed look like you can't initiate the bleeding via diagnostics/basic settings. The factory manual suggests the use of an external bleeding unit.

Sure doesn't sound like a chip related problem just based on the fault code.

If you really want us to comment we would need an Auto-Scan from the car to be able to check software versions as well...
