This is for a 2013 S5 Cabrio.

I'd like to change the default "Auto Release Break without Seatbelt On" setting. This setting is in [53 Parking Brake] > [Security Access - 16] which prompts for a security code.

There's a code in the help bubble presented by VCDS 11.1.3, but the code isn't being accepted. I'm actually not even sure that the value VCDS presents is intended to be used as the security access code.

I've searched this forum and the internet to no avail.

Can someone either please provide me with the code or point me at a source (other than Google) for figuring it out myself?

We plan on releasing an updated version of VCDS shortly which also comes with a new set of label files and specifically takes care of the problem you've reported here. In short the security access code has changed for the facelift model.

FWIW, I received an e-mail from Ross-Tech after sending them a scan of my 2013 6MT S4. They said that the x.x.4 release of VCDS is basically done and should be released soon, but that it won't recognize the 2013 6MT S4 as a known model. I guess that will go in the x.x.5 release.
