the implausible signal on the brake light switch is a result of not depressing the brake pedal during the scan.

I noticed in your sig that you deleted Canadian DRL

I don't want to have to to change housings...

I did not see any mention of power changes to bypass the lowered voltage on daytime running lights. How would a housing change solve this?
