anyone know where to get HID H1 kits in or near Toronto for a good price?

not sure on the A6...I had to remove 3 wires from my column switch
I remover 1, 9 and 10. 1 of them becomes a extra "switched" 12V for accessories if you like
This is all from a 1993 90 so I would consult the Bentley Manual for your particular A6

can you ask him if he can get over 5000K? I want a bit of blue without going total ricer blue...
6000K to 8000K is prob what Im lookin for

Yes, he can get other ranges but it won't be for $300cnd. Sorry, the H1 are sold but

The only experience I have is with Ecodes...
Ecodes are essentially the OEM European equivalent of our DOT projectors.In my case made by Valeo I think A6 projectors are Bosch. I've never heard of any after market projectors. On my ecodes,the low beam lens IIRC is larger and allows more light out onto the road and the cuttoffs for the light beam are higher up on the passenger side.
They also don't have the amber reflective lens on the turn signal. I found when I went from OEM Valeo halogen projectors on my S4 to Ecode HIDs the effect was dramatic. Way better light coverage. They are much better than the OEM xenons on my Avant as well.
