The dealership should have been aware of this problem, who was the dealership?

Here is a list of things that I've had done as of 2007

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/394439.phtml</a

The quotes should all come out to approx the same

roughly:
$250 to repair a panel
$250 to paint a panel

count up the panels and guess at the quote...then get quotes to compare.

Your premium will not go up if you claim off insurance.

It does seem unlikely

how much time did spend diagnosing the problem and how many parts did they remove? What was the bill for the diagnosis?

Re: Yes already topped it up. Light still on.

My experience with the S4 V8.

If the oil light comes on you will need to add more oil than you think. Did you check the oil level on a level surface? How much oil did you add?

Re: Low oil light comes on but oil is not low.

Is this after adding oil...did you get the low oil light and then you added oil, now you are getting the low oil again?

Re: Any idea how much you've spent on this so far?

Awww come on, obviously this progressed over time and isn't so much a goal but an enthusiastic evolution.

I have not been as 'enthusiastic' as Mike but I can relate.

I would check the UK price

at worst it will be OTR (all in taxes, license, everything) or it will be taxes only so you should deduct 17.5% so it would be £20,000 which is CAD$40,000.

Not all track events are the same

examples:
High Performance Driver Education with instructors.

Lapping days with no instruction.

It's the only thing I can think of...I recall hearing a problem at the

dealership where somebody had been pressing the buttons on the fob while it was in their pocket (some kind of nervous habit ;-))
this could have been a VW but I am sure it is the same thing.

Letter sent with cheque on 18th July, cheque cashed Sept 4th.

NEQ & Bellavance organized events are very professional (from the tracks you've attended you probably know this) so I am not concerned (but I was worried that my letter had gone astray).

I have not received a formal reply

but I did email Allan and he confirmed that I am set to go.

I believe that you will also be OK. My guess is that there are not enough helpers to get through all the admin.
