depends on what kind of tires you plan on running...

if you run street tires and/or r-comps - 17" for the reasons other have mentioned

if you plan on running true slicks - 18" (tough to find slicks in 17" sizes)

ALMS as LMP1, LMP2, GT1, and GT2...there is no GT3 class in ALMS

the imsa porsche cup series is a spec series specifically for porsche gt3 cup cars, it's not an ALMS class and it's not the same as...

i drove a gutted out e36 at vir monday that has the turner stock class setup (no height adjustment)...that car is definitely in need of corner...

you are "strapped to" the rollbar...

in a frontal impact, your body is going to do the same thing if you have a roll bar or full cage...the harnesses (that are attached to the roll bar/main hoop of a cage) limit your torso's forward...

probably has a good bit to do with the car not being balanced (with all the weight off the back)...make sure you get the corner balanced and re-aligned before it hits the track...it will most likely...

i've always used the heat gun method...

some of it comes it easily with a little heat, some takes a lot of heat and some scraping...

clean up all the residue with goof-off and shop rags...make sure your work area is very well...

rear suspension is the same as e30's...

and the ti's have a short wheelbase...kinda like z3's
