There isn't an ALMS GT3 class. If Audi wanted to put some weight behind it they could probably get
it allowed into Rolex GT, but I can't imagine them having the slightest interest as long as there is a venue for their prototypes here in the States.

no, there isnt...
ALMS as LMP1, LMP2, GT1, and GT2...there is no GT3 class in ALMS
the imsa porsche cup series is a spec series specifically for porsche gt3 cup cars, it's not an ALMS class and it's not the same as the LMS GT3 class...
