Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic

I own a 06 and love it. You can get an older model for your price range. They are tanks and super reliable. V twin, shaft driven, twin front disk brakes, I could on and on.

Mine would jump form time to time then just died all together

The sensor is on the drivers side differential housing. $43 seems high, but I guess it is all about supply. This is not the ABS speed sensor.

My wires were severd. I don't know how exactly but...

Call either directly and they can get it. I got mine from ECS by calling.

BTW, your logic is correct. I had the same problem, but you should also make sure that the VSS wires are in good condition all the way up to the ECU. I replaced my VSS and it didn't fix the...
