and my ordeal is never going to end.
<center><img src="http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m57/hdias4/tyre/DSC_0492.jpg"></center><p>So after 2 weeks of bumper install i said fvck it and got my car back with the bumper looking like ****(0-10) would be a 4.
But that is not the end. Put my summer wheels back on, but every time i would go over a bump i could hear a rubbing sound. I didn't know what it was, i thought it was the bumper. So i start looking at the tire and is pilling of like bananas, found out that they didn't role the new fender.
So now the body shop is telling me its my fault that i didn't tell them the fender was rolled even knowing they could see on the previous one that it was. It just took a nice piece of rubber out of the tire(pic) and i'll prob have to get new tire(eagle f1s). Now trying to fight the body shop waiting for my insurance company to see the car.
what a sweet deal. <ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2653189.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2653189.phtml</a</li></ul>

How can you hold the body shop responsible for this??
You modified a factory part and never told them, right? If you told them to do it, and they didn't, I could understand, but if you neglected to tell them, well....

Agree. Its not their responsibilty to do this. You wont win the battle trust me.
I've worked at body shops for a few years, and they aren ot responsible for aftermarket changes. especailly on insurance jobs.

You didnt think to look at it, why should they ? Also they didnt do it with the summer tires on..
when it left there you didnt have any problems. It was after the fact of when you changed the rims. Correct me if im wrong

Ughh, I understand Haime. It is not like this was the only issue, just another to add to the list...
from a body shop that doesnt seem to be cooperating. Maybe its not all their fault, but either way, I know the feeling man.
Best of luck!

old fender was damaged and replaced. I told them to comparer fenders and make sure to matchall
modifications for the bumper and fitments to how it was before. I did not tell them because i didn't the fenders were rolled but they said they saw the previous fender was rolled and they didn't do it.
