Thanks, Clancy. I don't think changing the volume affects mine, but will check. Would be curious if yours will come back if you simply turn on the headlights (if there not already on).

Strange problem with FL speaker

Hi, folks. Haven't been on the AW forum for a long while. Upgraded to RNS-E more than a year ago. Really happy with it. Great upgrade from the '03 Bose SII.

Earlier this year, I noticed that...

I've been poking around and STF on this. I have all but lost AM reception. Intermittent and worsening by the day. I have '03 A6 with Symphany II and pulling the "00858 - Connection; Radio ZF Output...

Check. It was the convenience closing using the key in the door that didn't work.

...just was wondering if a bad rotary switch would stop that from working.

Will probably just put in another switch and find out :)

Thanks.

sunroof switch?

on my 03 A6, the sunroof was stuck half open. Wouldn't open or close. Had to manually crank closed.

Here's my question: If it's just the rotary switch causing the problem, should I expect the...

eBahn and download content vs. CDROM

Any feedback for the eBahn Desktop utility and downloaded content versus just using the CDROM directly? The one major diff I can see is that the Bentley CDROMs aren't MS Vista compatible, while the...

Yeah, $50 ded. And it was a little more than I expected...

...for all the incidental parts (rollers, dampener, thermostat, TB) and a little extra labor to install my Graf WP...all at ridiculously high dealer pricing. But, it's worth that much to go ahead and...

Factory says 90K, local dealer and indy shop say 60K...

others here say 60k is a bit ridiculous (a third sooner than factory). Not sure I disagree with that, but I had mine done at 65K, along with the WP.

Total dealer tab under CPO warranty...$750.

And I gladly paid it (and a case of good beer) for the following:

- Parkassist speaker (original reason I called)
- camchain tensioner gaskets
- timing belt
- TB roller/dampener
- WP (they put...

Talked to Bill (good guy!)...

It's actually the kit for the Avant, but with all the same parts as the one for the sedan, except the rear spring rate is a bit stiffer. I ordered! Thanks to 40V-V8 for the tip!

If so, I'm interested. Was planning on doing it sooner or later anyway. Should we just call up and toak to Bill and say "Hi, 40V-V8 sent me."? :)

<a...

Talked to one of the ER techs...

He said that the wheel is as pictured (definitely silver), but that they "just decided to call it Hyper Black". I asked him to double check. He said the wheel is silver and that's just the way it is....

You can figure it out...

What's your factory tire size (you want to keep the same overall diameter)?

255/30/19:
((255 x 0.30 x 2)/25.4) + 19 = 25.02 in. OD

255/35/19
((255 x 0.35 x 2)/25.4) + 19 = 26.02 in. OD

Sounds like you're 1 click away from the final purchase tab :)

Nice and..."refined" looking. It's definitely a silver wheel in the ER website pic, but the description says it's hyper black.

Agree the double lip makes the RPF1 look smaller...

You have a good point, both the double lip on the RPF1 and the extra "ring" on the NT03+M tend to make each look a little smaller. Might...

Enkei NT03+M or RPF1, opinions count here...

Need help with a decision between these two. Any help appreciated. Again, opinions count here.

NT03:
- 19.4 lbs
- Center cap included
- less $
- Might be stronger with the outer ring
- Might...

So, what's the offset of the 18x8s. Did you need spacers?

I'm sruggling with that decision, since I had pothole issues with the 17s. However, it was a really bad pothole season in CO(=rationalization) :)
