After replacing my pump, I drove around for week with a 5 gallon Jerry can in the trunk. Drove it to well below a quarter tank. Figured I was good. That was a year ago, and no problems since.

I had my timing belt done on my 97 A8 at 80,000 miles. I am currently at 138,000. Do I need to do it again, and when? Thanks.

From inside the car, I can't hear anything. When my wife gets home from work today with the car, I'll check the actual fan and see if it's running. When I increase the fan speed on the control...

UPDATE

No coolant leak, the coolant tank level is just where it should be, I did a scan with the Vag-Com and got no fault codes. Still no heat. What next...fuse, and check the blower?

No heat! and it's cold here in the Northeast.

Got in my A8(97) the other day(12degF) and was driving along and noticed that it was still very cold in the car, and no heat was coming out of any of the vents. All the bars were lit up on the fan...

I didn't empty my tank when I did the fuel pump, but I only had a little more that a quarter tank.

headlight washer jet

Need to replace a headlight washer jet. Is this a dealer only part, or is there an aftermarket source. Part number 4D0 955185. It's for a 97 A8Q. Thanks.

I have a 97 A8 with 137k miles on it. I had a transmission service done at 99k(fluid/filter). Before the service, I had the hunting issues, but after the service, none. I am having no apparent...

I agree. I was so frightened by the fuel pump procedure after reading all the posts regarding replacement, but it really wasn't too bad. I think if I had to do it again, it would only take no more...
